Description

This traditional, historic hotel lies in the north of beautiful Majorca, between the Tramuntana mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Originally dating from the 13th century, when the Moors ruled Majorca, the Monnàber Nou boasts an impressive history. A stately home since the 16th century, the building has been carefully preserved over the years, maintaining much of the original stonework. The grounds even include a well, olive press and windmill dating from 1680. This history, when coupled with its privileged location in the Majorcan countryside, make this ideal for your peaceful Balearic getaway.

The beaches of Pollença and Alcúdia are only 15 minutes away by car. You will also find an outdoor swimming pool where you can enjoy a dip onsite.

Hotel information
Relax and recuperate at the hotel’s spa and wellness centre, where you will find indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms and a gym. You can also indulge in a beauty treatment or massage.

Enjoy a game of tennis on one of the 2 courts before cooling off in the outdoor pool.

Food & beverage
The hotel’s Es Mirador de Monnaber restaurant serves traditional dishes made with a creative touch, using fresh local produce. The setting is informal and rustic, and offers fantastic views from its terrace. You will also find a bistro located beside the pool, serving refreshing drinks, ice cream and light meals.

Area information
The hotel’s ground contain 220 hectares of mountain and countryside filled with olives, carob and almond trees. This natural landscape is also home a wide variety of birds, horses and sheep, and provides the ideal place for a peaceful stroll.

Each room is unique and respects the original layout of the building, with its stone walls and Majorcan-style decor.

Deluxe Double or Twin Room
This air-conditioned room features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area and a private bathroom with free toiletries.

Junior Suite with Panoramic Views
This suite measures 35 m² and includes a bedroom and separate living room, decorated in a rustic, Majorcan style. It boasts improved panoramic views.

Studio Apartment
This apartment measures 32 m² and includes a kitchen, separate living room and balcony or private terrace. Pets are allowed. An added cost of EUR 12 per night will be charged.

Double or Twin Room
Please note this room is located in a separate rustic house within the estate, 600 metres from the original part of the hotel.
